But now trouble is brewing for Soha in Haryana.
Lokayukta Justice N K Aggarwal has directed Gurugram police
to submit a report about Soha Ali Khan’s arms licence.
In March last year, activist Naresh Kumar Kadian had sought
intervention of the lokayukta for action against officials involved in issuance
of the arms licence in November 1996, alleging that Soha Ali Khan was a minor
at that time. A weapon registered against her name was later found to be used
in the black buck poaching case involving Salman Khan.

In the report submitted to lokayukta on March 10 this year, it
was stated: It is proved that Soha Ali Khan @Soha Sultan obtained the arms
licence by concealing the material fact of her age from the competent
authority. Therefore, prima facie Soha committed an offence punishable under
section 420 of IPC.
The Blackbuck poaching case is subjudice in a court in
Jodhpur and the main accused is superstar Salman Khan.
Salman had pleaded “not guilty” in the
case of alleged poaching of two blackbucks in 1998 near Jodhpur during the
shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain, which also starred Soha’s brother Saif Ali
Khan.
